SUPERMAN!

I'm not going to lie, a lot of the reason I liked the show Smallville was because of Tom Welling.  He is a beautiful specimen!  However, I have always liked Superman.

When I was a kid I would stop everything when one of the Superman movies came on tv.  I watched Superman cartoons.  I begged my parents to take me to see Supergirl in the theatre (a story in & of itself which I might elaborate on later).  I had Supergirl underoos . . . remember those?  I also had R2D2 & Wonder Woman ones.

I guess by the mid 90's I had lost interest or something because I never had any interest in the show Lois & Clark.  I know my sister used to watch it but it never struck my fancy so I never bothered with it.  When Smallville started up in 2001 I took one look at who was playing Clark & decided that even if the show was awful I'd give it a shot since Tom Welling was, looks-wise, pretty much my ideal male.  I loved the show.  I was addicted for the first few years then I lost interest again but a little while later I got back into it & caught up on the year or two I had missed.

Today there was nothing on tv.  I was bored & I had just finished the book I'd been reading so I decided to flip through the channels.  I found Lois & Clark so I gave it a shot thinking I might have missed out on something.  Turns out I didn't.  Did anyone watch the show when it was originally on air?  God it was hoakey & the acting wasn't very good.  Dean Cain was super good looking but other than that I was highly unimpressed.

That said I'm looking forward to the new Superman movie!
