Doctors & Oscars

Do you ever feel like all you do is go from one doctor's appointment to another?

Maybe it's because my sister goes to a lot of doctor's appointments or maybe it's because being unemployed makes the days seem more dull than usual but I feel like all I do is go from one doctor's office to another.There's nothing particularly wrong with me so it seems odd to have 3 doctor's appointments this week & another 2 next week plus another doctor called today to set up an appointment for the future. 

I feel like I should start to feel sick.  Like maybe I'm being convinced by the doctor's that there is something wrong with me simply so I'll go see them.  I don't consider myself a hypochondriac but maybe I should become one so that these doctor's visits will seem warranted?

P.S.  I planned to talk about the Oscars but they were so uneventful that what I had to say could pretty much be summed up in these simple thoughts . . .

- I love Emma Stone
- Octavia Spencer deserved the award she won - yay!
- Billy Crystal was kinda awkward & only sorta funny
- Chris Rock was the funniest portion of the show
- the acrobatics stole the show
- Viola Davis & Michelle Williams were robbed by Meryl Streep but Ms. Streep's speech was 2nd best
- the little montages they put together would have been great if they had been part of a documentary on movies but didn't quite suit the Oscars
- Christopher Plummer's speech was great. At 82 how is he the oldest person to receive an Oscar???
- Muppets won for best song? Great & bizarre all at once
- I'm sorry but there was no J-Lo nip slip, get over it!
- Angelina's leg does not deserve it's own twitter account
- yay for the show ending half an hour earlier than it was scheduled to!
